Send Me

Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that you are my God.

Oh Lord, my prayer is that you strip me down until my flesh is no more. Fill me with more of you and less of me. Wash me with your cleansing flow. I am here Lord, choose me…use me for whatever you need. I…am…available

Isaiah 6:8

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

We often want to be acknowledged by others for our good works. Some persons go beyond to ensure they are seen. However, our God does not look at actions he looks at the heart. God loves a humble heart he reaches out and highlights those who will not praise themselves after a victory. Our work on this earth is made to reflect God and to please him.

Lord, I want to be disciplined and humble as Isaiah was. I want you to choose me. Here I am! I am ready to respond to your call. I am ready to hear your ‘GO’. Make my every action and word intentional. Send me Father… send me!

Endurance

While lying down a familiar feeling came across me. A feeling which most of us women dread each and every month. They are some women; whose menstrual cycle comes with no pain, some with mild discomfort and others whose pain is so unbearable they don’t know how to function.

We often like to compare our lives to others, especially when things are not going the way we would have expected. When things become challenging some contemplate giving up, some of us make an attempt at giving up and some of us do give up. God has given each and everyone one of us a specific task, and it is our duty to carry it out despite how difficult.

Endurance is defined as the ability to withstand hardship or adversity.

But I hear the Lord saying this is the season of endurance. This is the season to hold on tight. Pain, disappear, disappointments, and even failures may come your way but don’t give up!! Stand strong and uphold his every word.

Hebrews 12:1 – Run With Perseverance

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Romans 5:3-4 – Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Let’s go forward today enduring what God has laid before us. Be courageous and patient and listen for his voice.
